EC670 Series
Elevator-Specific VFD
The EC670 Series is a dedicated elevator drive designed for smooth, precise motor control. Built-in elevator programs simplify integration with lift control systems, while low-speed torque and controlled acceleration and deceleration help support stable starting, comfortable travel and accurate floor leveling. Flexible motor-control modes, through-wall installation and keypad options make the series suitable for a range of elevator machine-room configurations.
Key features
- The EC670 Series is a high-performance variable frequency drive designed for elevator applications.
- Built-in elevator programs support integration with elevator control systems, with straightforward wiring and commissioning.
- Smooth acceleration and deceleration curves and low-noise operation help reduce ride vibration and shock. Low-speed torque supports heavy-load starting, accurate floor leveling and smooth door operation.
- Supports V/F, sensorless vector control (SVC) and flux vector control (FVC) for both induction motors (IM) and permanent-magnet motors (PM), with application functions including torque and PID control.
- Allows one-touch switching between control functions for induction and permanent-magnet motors.
- Uses IGBT modules from major suppliers such as Fuji and Starpower, with customized options available. A 32-bit ARM processor, dedicated short-circuit protection chip, high-quality capacitors and modular PCB design support protection and real-time monitoring.
- Supports through-wall installation and features an integrated die-cast aluminum heat sink, side-sliding cover and hot-pluggable, speed-adjustable fans. The design is intended for stable operation in the electrically demanding environment of an elevator machine room.
- A detachable, hot-pluggable keypad supports parameter copying and RJ45 extension cables up to 30 m. Optional single-line LED, two-line LED and LCD keypads are available.
- A standard RS485 port supports Modbus RTU communication. Firmware can be upgraded through USB or a serial connection.
