Keep the process coordinated
A VFD can adjust the speed of a compatible motor and provide controlled acceleration and deceleration. On a weaving line, these settings should be considered together with the machine sequence, yarn handling and any connected equipment.
The useful speed range and response requirements depend on the loom design and the material being processed.
Fit the control architecture
The drive command may come from a local panel, machine controller or communication network. Clear run, stop and fault handling helps operators and maintenance teams understand the machine state.
When several motors work together, their coordination requires a system-level design rather than a drive setting in isolation.
